'The Garment Worker' by Judith Weller
Set in New York City in the 1920s, RAGS tells the story of Mordechai Maze, a father and husband desperately trying to remain true to himself while everything around him is changing faster than he can believe.  Faced with a daughter who has just eloped with the boss’ son, a labor dispute he is expected to mediate at the sweatshop where he works, and a son who wants nothing more than to be a 'real American,' Mordechai confronts the growing distance between the man he believes himself to be, and the world that he finds himself living in.
