Hanna Cheek (Mirel) was seen most recently in the pumpkin pie shows: Junta High (PS 122), Cardiac Shadow (PS 122), Ringside seats (The Belt Theatre), and Saint Hanna… (The Kraine Theatre). Also a member of the Waterwell Theatre Company, Cheek co-created and appeared in The Persians...a comedy about war (Perry Street Theatre), Sweetness and light (Alternate Stages), and her one woman show Life in pink (Ground Floor Theatre, Belt Theatre). Other NY credits: First You're Born (Playwrights Horizons), Broken boughs (Blue Heron Arts Centre), and The Good Woman (EST). In LA, Hanna directed and performed in Bad Touch: a sketchy show (Masquerade Theatre) and improvized regularly at Improv Olympic West. TV credits: The West Wing (WB), Titus (Fox), and Undresses (MTV). Ms. Cheek has studied at Sarah Lawrence College, IO West, and the BADA in London.
Anita Keal* (Yachne), most recently appeared in NYC as BESSIE in "From Door To Door" Westside theatre, Director Joe Brancato; BASHEVA in "Noble Laureate" Queens Theatre in the Park, Director Avi Hoffman; MARGARET RUSKIN, in "The Countess", Lamb's Theatre, Director, Ludavica Villar-Houser.BROADWAY: "M.Butterfly", "Tribute" Off-BROADWAY: "Destiny of Me", "Isn't It Romantic", "Getting Out" among others. REGIONAL THEATRE favorite roles are: Amanda in "The Glass Menagerie", Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest" RACHEL in "If We Are Women" (by Joanna M Glass). TV: commercials and episodic, she created Mignon on "Search for Tomorrow". With four other films in the can she appears as Eve in "Passing Stones" shown on IFC.
Daryl Lathon* (The Stranger) was most recently seen in The Revenger's Tragedy, directed by Jesse Berger for Red Bull Theater. Daryl"s previous work with Isaac Butler includes Sustaining and In Private/In Public, both by George Hunka, and Volume of Smoke by Clay MacLeod Chapman. Other New York credits include Rubber, God and Mr. Smith, and Reckless. Outside New York, Daryl has appeared in Henry V, Coriolanus, King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream all for Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C. and Master Class and Much Ado About Nothing for Theatre Virginia in Richmond, Va.
David Little* (Menashe) - Broadway: Brooklyn Boy, Six Degrees of Separation, Zalmen or the Madness of God; Off Broadway: the recent critically acclaimed The Salvage Shop, The Golem opposite Robert Prosky, Iphigenia in Aulis, and Anthony & Cleopatra, among many others, as well as leading roles at major regional theatres, such as Yale Rep. the Guthrie, Pittsburgh Public, Humana Festival, Folger, Great Lakes Shakespeare, Indiana Rep, O'Neill Theatre Conference, and Herbie opposite Rita Moreno in Gypsy at North Shore Music Theatre. Recent feature film: Firstborn with Elizabeth Shue. On TV: many featured and recurring roles on Law & Order and Ed. He also appeared on Sopranos, Swift Justice, Feds, and Guiding Light. Films include: King of the Gypsies, Running Wild, Claire Dolan and The Bet. He is married to director Susan Einhorn and is the proud father of Lucy.
Michael Marion (U/S for MENASHE) began his professional life as a clown with Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus-the last known performer, in fact, to work his way up from "candy butcher" to clown on "The Greatest Show on Earth." His subsequent career in New York's Off-Off-Broadway scene in the late 1960's included performances at Café LaMama, and with the Open Theater (workshops) and with Dick Higgins's seminal avant-garde performance-art group, "Fluxus."His work has included award-winning radio performances ("Best NPR Network Promo"), television (he was David Letterman's successor as local "All-Night Movie" host in Indiana, where he was seen throughout the Midwest) and in both New York-based and Regional theater. Most recently, he was seen in New York Classical Theater Company's performances of "As You Like It" and "Scapin." He is honored to understudy a role in Peretz Hirschbein's all-too-neglected work, "The Amulet".
Isaac Butler (Director) Previous directing credits include the US premier of Line Knutzon's First You're Born (Peter Jay Sharp Theater), the world premiers of Clay McLeod Chapman's Redbird at 45 Below and Volume of Smoke (Firehouse Theatre, Richmond, VA), where he also directed Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, Sustaining and In Private/In Public both by George Hunka (Manhattan Theater Source), Henry IV, part 1 (Powerhouse Theater) and Cop-Out by John Guare (Access Theater). Butler is the creator of The Rapid Response Team, a monthly theatrical event based on current news stories. He is a two time member of the Lincoln Center Director's Lab and a graduate of Vassar College.

Regional credits include Speed-the-Plow and Inherit the Wind (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Julius Caesar (Minnesota Opera); the world premier of Shining Brow (Madison Opera); The Magic Flute and A Little Night Music (Skylight Opera Theatre); The Sound of Music and A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Northshore Music Theatre, Major Barbara and M. Butterfly (Hangar Theatre); Three Tall Women and Crimes of the Heart (Syracuse Stage); and The Alchemist (Yale Repertory Theatre). Mr. Birn is on the faculty at Vassar College, and lives in Cold Spring, New York, with his wife and 7 year-old daughter.
Sydney Marcesa (Costume Design) most recently designed costumes for The Debate Society's The Snow Hen and A Thought about Raya. Other costuming credits include Cirque This!, Robin's Big Date (Sundance 2005), Jeffrey D's Christmas with the Flamingos, Bradford Louryk's Klytaemnestra's Unmentionables, and Ibsen's Rosmersholm and The Lady from the Sea at The Century Center. Sydney is also part of the The Hazzards, New York's baddest ukulele band, seen on Comedy Central, at the Kennedy Center, all over New York, the internet, and hosting a monthly show at Galapagos.

Stacy Conner (Stage Manager) Having spent 19 yrs of her life dancing, 10 yrs singing and acting, Stacy discovered her passion for theatre was not only on the stage but also off the stage. After graduating from American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Feb ’02, Stacy began her career as an actress in New York City and soon after was offered to stage manage Much Ado About Nothing with Point of You Productions. Stacy delved into the books of stage managing to perform this new task and discovered after a successful run she did not want to leave this newfound position out of her repertoire. Stacy’s most recent credits include Stage Managing many Off-Broadway shows at the Soho Playhouse including, Orgasms The Play and Maximum Risk, The World Champions on the Edge, Simon‘s Strange and Unusual Hobbies. Some of Stacy’s other stage managing credits include Baghdad Burning, The Adventures of Baba Yaga: Little Girl Stew, Canada Fringe Festivals ‘04, Waving Hello, Artists of Tomorrow ’04, South End, and others. Stacy would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work in putting on this wonderful show!
Matt Temkin (Percussionist) hails from Chicago where his family has deep music and theatre roots. It was there that he began playing for musicals, which he continued in Boston, Mass during his undergraduate days. Since moving to New York, Matt has been playing drums at the Off Broadway production of "On Second Avenue" at the Folkbiene Yiddish Theater. He is also a designer of supertitles and projections for concerts, shows, and national touring productions. Recently, Matt was heard at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center performing with clarinetist David Krakauer and the New Yiddish Chorale (Zalmen Mlotek). While getting a masters degree in musicology at Brooklyn College (CUNY), Matt can be found at one of his many music related jobs as a volunteer Sound Archivist for YIVO. He also plays drums and percussions for Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs…which he rates on the quality of the dancing and the food. When not playing drums, Matt rides his bicycle and roots for his beloved Cubbies… though he doesn't actually know if he wants them to win the World Series.
Nicole Schalmo (House Manager) is an undergraduate at Adelphi University. She is originally from Southern California, where she House Managed at The Looking Glass Studio of Performing Arts. She is thrilled to be House Managing in New York and is delighted to be working with such a great group of people. She also thanks her family and friends who have always supported and believed in her, she wouldn't be here if not for them.
